ロータスのボブスレー

正確にはロータスが修理した、ということですが。

ロータスとボブスレーなんて全然関係性が見えないのですが、FRPなどの複合材の研究開発に長けていると見られて壊れたボブスレーの修復を頼まれたようです。英国空軍チーム（！）に。
確かにエランとか、ボディがFRPなクルマも作っていましたし、ノウハウがあるんでしょうね。ある意味エコなスポーツだし、cool runningでガンバってください。

Lotus Refurbishes Bob Sled for Royal Air Force

When Royal Air Force (RAF) Bobsleigh Team Manager Flight Lieutenant Craig Dickie approached Lotus Engineering initially to discuss the possibility of them assessing a sled which had sustained significant damage and cracks to the body over the years, Lotus Group Chief Executive, Mike Kimberley, accepted very enthusiastically.
